Elena R Rivera, age 70, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Elena was born July 12, 1950. Elena was a great wife, mother, aunt and friend. She was a kind of woman that made many laugh and smile with her presence. Everyone who met her loved her. She will be missed immensely.
Elena was preceded in death by her father Jose Ureña (†) and mother Maria Rodriguez (†).Elena is survived by her husband, Jose I. Rivera;son Alejandro Rivera; daughters Griselda Rivera and Graciela Rivera.
A visitacion for Elena will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78526. A Chapel Service will occur Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78526. A Burial will occur Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78526.
