Enrique Rosas will be remembered as a man of strong faith who enjoyed life and the many simple pleasures that brought him happiness. A devoted Catholic, Enrique had a deep faith in God that remained an important part of his life.
Enrique proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of hard work to PUB, where he remained until his retirement.
In his free time, Enrique enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. He was also an avid sports fan who loved watching baseball and football. One of his favorite pastimes was going to the casinos, where he enjoyed the excitement and the opportunity to have a good time.
Enrique leaves behind many wonderful memories that will continue to be cherished by his family and friends. His faith, dedication, and the things that brought him joy throughout his life will always be remembered.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and grace of God.
Enrique is survived by his sons, Reynaldo Bowman (Araceli) and Ricardo Casarez (Miriam); his grandchildren, Miriam Lisete Casarez, Ryan Bowman, Stephany Bowman, and Dana Bowman; his brother, Juan Rosas (Blasa †); his sister, Rosa DeLeon (Carlos †); his sister, Albina Benavides; his brother, Gonzalo Rosas (Magdalena †); and numerous nephews and nieces. Enrique was preceded in death by his wife, Leonor Rosas †; his father, Enrique Rosas Sr. †; his mother, Rosa V. Rosas †; his sisters Ramona Garcia †, Estela Collazo † and his brother, Andres Rosas †.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on August 26, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
A Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan, Brownsville, Texas 78521, on August 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm, followed by Burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX, at 1:00 pm.
