Enriqueta De La Cruz

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was also a devoted housewife for many years.

Mrs. De la Cruz was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Clara Leal Garcia’ son, Felipe De la Cruz; her husband, Alfonso De la Cruz Sr.; her brothers, Pedro, Martin, Santiago and Felipe Garcia; her sisters, Librada Benavidez, Carmela Guerra, Rosenda Hernandez and Concepcion Garcia.

Honoring the memory of Mrs. De la Cruz are her children, Alfonso (Benilde) De la Cruz Jr., David (Cindy) De la Cruz, Alma P. Hernandez, Armando (Cecilia) De la Cruz and Angie (Roberto) Picazo; 15 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren as well as a sister-Guadalupe Garcia; sister-in-law Lupita Meneses; brother-in-law Antonio De la Cruz.

Viewing will held from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Arturo Rivas, followed by the burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Service.

The family would like to thank all the staff and nurses at Spanish Meadows for their care of our mother, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at Valley Regional Hospital.

The family requests that those attending the funeral wear yellow.
