Esperanza Moya

Esperanza Moya, 86, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 8, 2010 at her residence in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family and sisters in Christ singing and praising God. Esperanza was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and Godly woman. She touched many lives through her faith and prayers. She will be dearly missed but will forever live in our hearts. She preceded in death by her husband, Reymundo Moya; two sons, Fernando Hernandez and Leonel Hernandez; father, Pedro Torres and mother, Rosa Olmeda.Esperanza is survived by her children, Magdalena Alvear (Manuel), Rosa Ramirez (Jesus), Esther Villarreal (Antonio), Dora Garcia (Juan), Javier Hernandez, Juanita Garcia (Roy) and Reymundo Moya Jr. (Dora); one stepson, Juan Moya; two step-daughters, Candy Ortega and Carmen Rivas; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 10 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista Thursday, February 11, 2010.Funeral service will be held at 11 am at Templo Emmanuel Asamblea de Dios Friday, February 12, 2010.Committal service will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.Serving as pallbearers will be Manuel Alvear Jr., Jose Antonio Alvear, Jesus Ramirez Jr., Jose Luis Ramirez, Andres Villarreal, Roy Garcia III, Raymundo Moya III and Jonathan Ray Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Antonio Villarreal III, Juan Antonio Garcia Jr., Javier Hernandez Jr., Justine Hernandez, Jose Luis Ramirez and Michael D. Love.
