Esteban Guerra

Esteban Guerra age 47, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. His assurance of his salvation through Jesus Christ was the most vital part of his last days. He was confident and believed that “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 He was born in Frankfurt Germany. He had a lot of love for all his family and close friends. He knew that his family and friends supported him during his battle with the HIV Virus. He said: “I will fight and live life to the last breath!”.

Esteban is survived by his parents: Gloria A. Guerra and Mack Guerra Jr., his brother Mack Guerra III, Anna M. Guerra (sister-in-law), Alyssa D. Gonzalez (niece), Erin Rae Guerra, (niece), and his nephew Mack Guerra IV, his step-grandfather: Rodney D. Mayhew.

Esteban was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents: Enrique Alvarez Sr. and Josefina G. Alvarez, paternal grandparents: Mack Guerra Sr. and Polly M. Mayhew, Gary Guerra Sr. (uncle), Gary Guerra Jr. (cousin), Yolanda Velasquez (aunt), Dianna Zapata (aunt).

Esteban also left behind one maternal aunt: Minerva Barrientes & family and one paternal aunt: Zina L. Guerra Louie & family, four paternal uncles and families: Johnie Guerra, Perry Guerra, Carl Guerra, Randy Guerra and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He left a lasting impression on everyone that knew him. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Esteban will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a Eulogy at 12 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.
