Estela Gutierrez

Estela was born in Brownsville, Texas, to Prajedis and Adela Cavazos. She was the sixth child and youngest daughter of her parents. She grew up alongside her siblings Alfred, Eleazar, Jonny Joe, Mary, Frank, Santiago, and Ruben, sharing a lifetime of family memories and love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul S. Gutierrez.

Estela and Raul were blessed with five sons: Raul Jr., Michael, Richard (Kristi), Joe (Delona), and James. Her family continued to grow, and she was the proud grandmother of Krystal, Vanessa, Brandon, Benjamin, Madison, Aubrey, Alayna, Jalob, Jaidyn, and Victor. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Daxton, Iris, and Easton.

After lovingly raising her five boys, Estela worked part-time. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and watching westerns. These simple joys reflected the warmth, patience, and comfort she brought to those around her.

Above all, Estela will be remembered for the love she had for her family. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her memory, love, and the legacy she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of her family and loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526, US, on August 24, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
