Ester L. Gonzalez

Esther Loya Gonzalez, age 101 in Brownsville, Tx entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her residence.

She was born in Brownsville, Tx in February 13, 1923 to Antonia Landero Loya and Policarpio Loya.

Mrs. Esther Gonzalez loved dancing, Amigos del Valle, where she participated in multiple events such as dancing contest, basketball, other sports. As well as competing as Queen of Amigos del Valle 2006. Esther has various medals. She also was dedicated to her catholic religion. She very much enjoyed spending family time in her home where family would go and celebrate and make memories.

She preceded in death by her husband: Jose Ancencion Gonzalez; parents: Antonia Landero Loya and Policarpio Loya; her siblings: Antonio (cuca), Lucio (luisa), Jorge, Eugenio (Ernestina), Natividad, Cecilia, Angelita Beltran, and Guadalupe; her sons: Jesus and Jose Angel; her grandson: Jose Sostenes Moreno; her son in law: Juan Garcia

Left to cherish is her daughters: Juanita Gonzalez, Maria G. Moreno (Carlos) and Aurora Garcia; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Ester will be held Monday, September 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W St Francis St, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
