Fabian will always be remembered for his joyful spirit, loving heart, and the happiness he brought to those around him. He had a great love for sports and enjoyed spending time playing pool with his friends and family. He also loved to dance and sing, bringing laughter and joy to every gathering.
Above all, Fabian treasured his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He found great happiness in spending time with them, spoiling them, and making wonderful memories together. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he never missed an opportunity to show them how much they were loved.
Fabian's warm personality, cheerful spirit, and love for his family will forever be cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind beautiful memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to his loved ones.
Fabian is survived by his loving wife, Chriselda Martinez; his son, Fabian Martinez Jr.; his daughter, Roselynn Martinez; his mother, Angela Maldonado; his father, Guadalupe Martinez; his sister, Maribel Martinez; and his brother, Angel Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Edgar Alberto Martinez †.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church, 5409 Austin Rd., Brownsville, Texas. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
Fabian will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and the precious memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
