Felipe Perez Jr.
January 22, 1944 – March 27, 2013
Felipe “Penny” Perez Jr., 69, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Brownsville, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Marines Corps and was also employed by the City of Brownsville for 32 years as a Building Inspector.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria H. Perez; his parents, Felipe and Oralia Perez; and his sister Oralia Mendoza.
He is survived by his children, Angie Zamora and Jose Luis (Angelica) Cano ;brothers and sisters, Rachael Gutierrez, Francisco Perez and Ester Campos; grandchildren, Anahi Cano, Yoali Cardenas, Desirey De la Fuente, Jose Cano Jr., Fernando Cano and Cesar Cano; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held today Friday, March 29, 2013 from 10am-9pm at Fuenraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a Holy Rosary at 7pm.
A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista committal service will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Mr. Perez was a great guy to work with. Working together with someone for so many years, you become like a family and we are missing part of our family now that Mr. Perez is gone. He always had a smile on his face and he will be sorely missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family at this most difficult time.
