Being parents of a united states soldier currently serving our country we would like to extend our condolences and prayers to Rodriguez family and thier friends we feel a special bond to this family and others in time of need thank you Rod for your love of our  country and being there to protect our freedom as well you are well appreciated and will be forever remembered may you watch over us hand in hand with our lord above

My son served with Rod and my family and I had the pleasure of meeting Rod last summer when he drove our son home to visit us on leave.  We live in PA.  Rod instantly became a member of our family.  Such a positive, pleasant, generous,and fun-loving person.     We aew blessed to have met him and took great comfort in knowing that my son had made such a good friend far from home.  I am very thankful for his dedication to his country and for all the memories   we have of him.  All of them involve laughter.  Our thoughts and prayers have been with you and you have our deepest heartfelt sympathy.
