Gloria Torres

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Gloria always placed the needs of others before her own. Her unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around her, and her warm smile and jokes could brighten anyone's day.

Gloria is survived by her daughter Gloria A. Salas; and her son in law Ariel Salas; her granddaughter Adrianna Lorina Salas and her grandson Ariel Salas Jr..

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Ernesto Torres †; her son Ernesto Torres Jr.; her father Rafael Garcia Longoria † and her mother Maria Dolores Garcia Solis †; her brother Rafael Garcia Solis †.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers is: Ariel Salas. Serving as pallbearers are: Ariel Salas Jr., Michael David Mares, Favio Balladares, Aeson Salas, Steve Torres and Omero Flores.
