Lupita as she was lovingly called was born in Brownsville and lived here all her life. She worked for many years with McNair company and then Levi's until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Bertha Haggstrom, husband: Miguel Maldonado Sr. and sons: Miguel Jr., Alberto and Tomas.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister: Maria del Refugio (Cookie) Gonzalez, sons: Carlos Maldonado and Juan (Isabel) Maldonado, daughters: Angelita (Gene) Burdick, Mary (Juan) Coello and Anna (Roy) Leal and well as her 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchild
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 12pm to 9pm at Del Angel Buena Vista Funeral Home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm.
Funeral mass will take place on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, followed by interment at Buena Vista Burial Park.
The family wishes to thank Greater Valley Hospice, Dr. Robles and Dr. J. Maldonado for their care/services in her final years.
All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Del Angel Buena Vista Funeral Home.
