Guadalupe S. Ortega, age 79, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Guadalupe was born May 11, 1941 to Tiburcia Cabrera (†) and Agustin Saldivar (†).

Guadalupe is survived by son Ignacio Ortega (Emilio Davila); daughter Maria Guadalupe Ortega; son Jose Luis (Reina) Ortega; and son Jose Alberto (Cynthia) Ortega; sister Blanca (Bruno) Balderaz and brother Manuel (Antonia) Saldivar; grandchild Luis Adan Ortega, grandchild Jocelyne Ortega, grandchild Albert Lee Ortega, grandchild Samantha Lynn Ortega, niece Matty Brown and niece Joanne Tijerina.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by father Agustin Saldivar (†) and mother Tiburcia Cabrera (†); nephew Bruno Balderaz (†).

A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Buena Vista Burial Park, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX.
