Guadalupe Espinoza Solis, 78, entered into paradise on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Brownsville, Texas. A devoted and loved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. She was born in 1944 in Brownsville, Texas to Lorenzo Espinoza and Guadalupe Espinosa (Uvalle).
She is preceded in death by her adoring and loving husband, Ramon H. Solis Sr., father Lorenzo Espinoza and mother Guadalupe Espinosa (Uvalle).
Left to honor her memory are her children; Norma Rojas Solis, Ramon Solis Jr., Esther Solis and Alberto Solis. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren; Rolando Castro Jr., Michael Castro, Jorge Robles, Kevin Robles, Cynthia Solis, Crystal Gavina, Brittny Solis, Breanna Solis, Alexandria Gomez, Allie Larraga, Alina Larraga, Alberto Solis Jr., Matthew Solis, Amber Solis, sister Herminia Acosta and 23 great grandchildren.
Guadalupe E. Solis was a beautiful soul that dedicated a majority of her life as a special education teacher, 14 titles and the Real McCoy." A selfless mother who was always there when needed, the kindest corazon de oro. As a mother, she was dedicated to share her endless love with everyone who met her, and the dancer who brightened every inch of the room. Guadalupe E. Solis was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and laughter.
A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:30 AM Saturday, August 19, 2023 for the Espinoza and Solis families and their friends in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521. A rosary will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 2405 E. Tyler St., Brownsville, Texas 78520 followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, Texas 78526.
Serving as pallbearers are Ramon, Alberto, Rolando, Alberto Jr., Matthew, Esther and Norma.
