On June 18, 2012, the heart of a great man stopped beating. His body will no longer be amongst us, but the love that he always had for his family will accompany us until the day our hearts also stop beating and we will be reunited. Our Dad, Don Guillermo Tabasco, because he was a “Don”, guided us to always be the best in everything. His children and family will miss his presence, but will always have the greatest memories of what it is to have an extraordinary father. He loved carpentry and working with his hands. He always had a joke to tell or advice to give and was a father figure to anybody he came across.
Guillermo is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Tabasco, mother, Juana González; sisters, Socorro Tabasco, Maria del Carmen Tabasco.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Tabasco; children, Maria Nila Tabasco (Matthew Ornelas), Mirtha Tabasco, Ana Laura (Jose) Ortega, Cynthia, and Guillermo Jr. (Liliana Ordoñez) Tabasco; grandchildren, Karyme Gisselle, Odalys Renee, Guillermo III; siblings, Ofelia Tabasco, Antonio Tabasco, Alejandra Tabasco, Leticia Tabasco, Jesús Tabasco and Julio Tabasco.
Visitation was held from 2pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 7pm on, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A mass will be held at 11am today, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Christ the King at 2255 Southmost Road a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
