Our father's life was a remarkable journey that could rival the plot of a captivating novel. God blessed him with countless experiences and challenges. Despite losing our mother prematurely, he never wavered in his care for our sister Mari, who had disabilities until her untimely death at the age of 47. Following her passing, our father faced his own health struggles being paralyzed after a stroke and confined to his bed the last 5 years of his life. Throughout it all, he had an immense passion for music and a genuine love for people. He embraced life with joy and enthusiasm until the very end. Our hearts are filled with countless, precious memories and stories we will forever cherish.
Hector is survived by his daughters Esmeralda Fisher (Frank Fisher) and Rosalinda Gallegos Main (Jon Main), four grandchildren Kayla Michelle Blankenship, Everett Cole Fisher, Cruz Main and Ty Main, one great grandchild Carter Lee Blankenship.
Hector was preceded in death by his wife Ninfa Gallegos Atkinson and daughter Marisol Gallegos.
A visitation for Hector will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A chapel service will occur Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
