

Hector “Juventino” Rangel will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, caring brother, and a man who found happiness in the simple things in life.
Juventino was a simple and humble man who never needed much to be content. He appreciated the quiet moments, the comfort of home, and most of all, the time he was able to spend surrounded by the people he loved. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories they created together will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
In his free time, Juventino enjoyed working on puzzles. He appreciated the patience and thought that went into putting each piece together, finding enjoyment in something peaceful and simple—much like the way he chose to live his life.
As a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Juventino leaves behind a beautiful legacy through the generations of his family. His quiet presence, humble nature, and love for a simple life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Though his presence will be greatly missed, his family will continue to carry him with them through the memories, lessons, and moments they shared. Hector “Juventino” Rangel will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him family.
Juventino is survived by his wife, Martha Sylvia Rangel; his sons, Hector Rangel Jr, Oswald “Valdo”Rangel, and Juventino Rangel (Mayra); his daughter, Rosario R Chavez (Jose Angel); his grandchildren, Jimmy Ray, Damian, Matthew, Hector “Trey”, Madeline, Lauren, Jonathan, Camila, Sylvia, and Reyli; his great-grandchildren, Robbie, Jayden, Lily, Ezequiel, and Matthew; and his sisters, Lourdes Rangel, Dolores Rangel Avila, and Martha Zamarripa.
Juventino was preceded in death by his Parents Leonides Rangel and Vicenta H. Rangel, brother Guadalupe Rangel, Sisters Rufina Rangel Rodriguez, and Teresa Rangel Garza and his infant grandaughter Aryanna.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on August 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church, 5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on September 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on September 1, 2026, at 3:00 pm.

Hector “Juventino” Rangel, de 80 años, nació el 23 de junio de 1946 y falleció el 26 de agosto de 2026.
Hector “Juventino” Rangel será recordado como un esposo dedicado, un padre amoroso, un orgulloso abuelo y bisabuelo, un querido hermano y, sobre todo, como un hombre que encontraba felicidad en las cosas sencillas de la vida.
Juventino fue un hombre sencillo y humilde que no necesitaba de grandes cosas para sentirse feliz. Disfrutaba de los momentos tranquilos, de la comodidad de su hogar y, especialmente, del tiempo que podía compartir rodeado de las personas que amaba. Su familia ocupó un lugar muy importante en su vida, y los recuerdos que juntos crearon permanecerán para siempre en sus corazones.
En sus momentos libres, Juventino disfrutaba mucho armar rompecabezas. Encontraba tranquilidad y entretenimiento en la paciencia de colocar cada pieza en su lugar, disfrutando de algo sencillo y tranquilo, tal como la manera en que eligió vivir su vida.
Como esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y hermano, Juventino deja un hermoso legado a través de las generaciones de su familia. Su presencia tranquila, su humildad y su manera sencilla de disfrutar la vida serán profundamente extrañadas por todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo y amarlo.
Aunque su ausencia dejará un gran vacío, su familia continuará llevándolo consigo a través de los recuerdos, las enseñanzas y todos los momentos que compartieron a su lado. Hector “Juventino” Rangel permanecerá por siempre en los corazones de quienes tuvieron la bendición de llamarlo familia.
A Juventino le sobreviven su esposa, Martha Sylvia Rangel; sus hijos, Hector Rangel Jr, Oswald “Valdo” Rangel y Juventino Rangel (Mayra); su hija, Rosario R Chavez (Jose Angel); sus nietos, Jimmy Ray, Damian, Matthew, Hector “Trey”, Madeline, Lauren, Jonathan, Camila, Sylvia y Reyli; sus bisnietos, Robbie, Jayden, Lily, Ezequiel y Matthew; y sus hermanas, Lourdes Rangel, Dolores Rangel Avila y Martha Zamarripa.
Juventino fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres Leonides Rangel and Vicenta H. Rangel, hermano Guadalupe Rangel, hermanas Rufina Rangel Rodriguez, y Teresa Rangel Garza and su nietesita Aryanna.
La velación se llevará a cabo en Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, el 31 de agosto de 2026, de 12:00 p. m. a 12:00 a. m.v con la recitación del santo rosario a las 7:00 p.m.
