Hector loved to be with people and did so much for his family. As young college students, we were often given advice from an "older" brother. Hector could talk your ear off, but he had great stories told with a great smile. I'll miss him. My condolences to John Joe and Rosie and family.

Mr. Trevino truly was a Great Person. I knew him way back when he was at Del Castillo and was the teacher I wished I had when I was in school. Extremely dedicated to his students and anyone around him. Always sharing his smile.

The man lived to serve! Always a smile on his face and a sincere greeting. He loved to be in the middle of it all. And yes even at 35 years of age I never grew up in Hector's eyes, I still got my baseball card whenever I crossed his path. A bright light in everyone's life of whom he had met.

Hector was a good man and a great usher! His kind heart and cheerfully attitude well never be forgotten. May he rest in peace and my deepest condolences to his family.

We are so sorry for the loss of Hector.  He was a very special man.  Hector lived his life with compassion, commitment, and gratitude always willing to selflessly give to others in any way he could.  Hector positively touched everyone he met making them feel happy for having known him. RIP Hector!  God welcomes his son to Heaven.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your whole family.  Mr. Trevino was my 4th grade teacher.  He was a teacher who taught from the heart. He made you believe that you were important and gave you the confidence every day to believe in yourself. He always had a big smile and a positive thought every time you saw him. I truly looked foward to school.  No matter how hard or dumb my question was he was always happy to help me.  I always looked foward to our school lessons because I knew I would be successful and accomplished because of his support and confidence in me. He was a brilliant teacher and I look back in gratitude because he changed me.  Rest in peace Mr. Trevino.  I wish there were more teachers like him.

I know enough to say: The angels opened the gates of paradise and the saints met him st the gates.
