Hermelinda loved gardening, traveling and reading. She retired from teaching Special Education at Lincoln Park, Putegnat and Skinner. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, flea markets and anywhere she could score a deal. She enjoyed visiting family and friends and sharing a good laugh. She was a devoted catholic parishoner at St. Mary's Church. She volunteered to decorate, clean and participate in many church functions. She was involved in the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved serving God. She will be dearly missed.
Hermelinda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Faustino Ramirez, son Faustino Ramirez Jr., daughters Myda E. Ramirez and Anisa H. Ramirez, granddaughters Jenisa H. Myers, Nina Ramirez and Daniela Ramirez.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 07, 2023 from 2pm - 9pm with a rosary at 7pm in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A mass will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by a burial at 12pm at Buena Vista Burial Park.
