Irene Sanchez Garza, age 66, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Thursday July 4, 2019. Irene was born October 25, 1952 to Guadalupe Sanchez (†) and Nicolas Sanchez (†).

Irene was preceded in death by; father Nicolas Sanchez (†) and mother Guadalupe Sanchez (†); brother Daniel Sanchez (†).

Irene is survived by her husband, Ruben Garza Sr.; son Ruben Garza Jr. (Kristen); and daughter Lara Nicole Hitchcock (Jerry); brother Nicolas Sanchez Jr. and brother Jose Sanchez.

A memorial service for Irene will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521, followed by a chapel service at 6:30 PM.
