Jose Guadalupe will be remembered as a devoted father, loving grandfather, hardworking man, and a true friend to many. His life was centered around the people he loved, and his family was always one of his greatest blessings.
Jose was a man who believed in the value of hard work. He dedicated himself to providing for his family and took pride in everything he did. He was also known for his generous and helpful nature. Whenever a family member, friend, or neighbor needed a helping hand, Jose was always willing to be there. His kindness and friendship touched many lives, and those who knew him knew they could count on him.
Above all, Jose had a deep love and respect for his parents. The love and values they gave him remained an important part of who he was throughout his life, and he carried those same values into his own family.
As a father and grandfather, Jose leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, hard work, and devotion to family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the lessons he taught, the kindness he shared, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jose Guadalupe will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
He is survived by his daughters, Norma Oviedo, Nataly Oviedo, and Claudia Oviedo; his daughter in law, Esmy Rodriguez; and his grandsons, Raul Gomez and Matthew Diaz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleuteria Orduña †.
A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on September 4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Rosary at 2:00 pm.
