Javier was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather, respected businessman, and faithful friend. He dedicated his life to providing for his family, serving others, and living with integrity, perseverance, and faith. Above all, his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family.
For 50 years, Javier shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Maria Aracely Flores. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and unconditional love. Their bond was one of unwavering devotion, friendship, and commitment that served as an example to all who knew them.
Javier had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and treasured the many hunting adventures he shared with Aracely. He also looked forward to spending summers at Isla Blanca Park, where countless memories were made alongside family and dear friends. Whether sharing stories, laughter, meals, or simply enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, these moments brought him great happiness and remained among his fondest memories.
He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his generous heart, his strong work ethic, and the example he set for future generations. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply, the friendships he cultivated throughout his life, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and faith.
Javier is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria Aracely Flores; his sons, Javier Flores Jr. (Teresa G.), James Jason Flores (Ana B.), Omero Javier Flores, Haruhiko Taguchi (Andrea), and Omar Javier Flores (Netta); Christine Buitureida.

He is also survived by his brother, Frank Flores; his sister, Lydia Flores-Fonseca; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Javier was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carolina Flores.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that he has been welcomed into his eternal home and now rests in the loving presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, US, on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm. The Placement of Ashes will take place at Buena Vista Burial Park at 3:00 pm.
