Jayce Chanel Garza Mata was born on July 30, 2026, and peacefully passed away the same day. Though his time on earth was brief, Jayce's life touched the hearts of his family and will forever be cherished with deep love. He will be remembered with quiet reverence and enduring affection.
Jayce is lovingly survived by his mother, Janet Mata; his father, Angel Antonio Garza; his brothers, Jaiden Mata and Francisco M. Castillo; his sister, Mallory B. Castillo; his grandmother, Francisca Mata; and his grandfather, Jaime Mata.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Roselawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 78526.
Burial will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
