Jeffrey Lee Gunselman, age 68, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 with his wife and his two daughters by his side. Jeff was born November 28, 1953 in Liberty, Missouri to Dorothy Miller Gunselman and Donald Gunselman.
He served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1974-1988. He then settled in Texas and retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons around 2009.
Jeff had a love for traveling especially to a casino or one of his favorite spots; Rudioso, New Mexico, motorcycle rides on his beloved Harley trike with his wife Yolanda and Interceptors motorcycle club and visiting his daughters and grandchildren. He always had a story to tell or a joke to make you laugh to really anyone who would listen. He will be deeply missed to all that loved him so.
Jeffrey is survived by his spouse, Yolanda Gunselman; his daughter Delanna Gunselman (Nate Gamble); and his daughter Kristie Grubbs (Jason Grubbs); his step mother Pat Bergman-Smith; his brother Kevin Gunselman (Debbie Gunselman).
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father Donald Gunselman and his mother Dorothy Miller Gunselman; his sister Julie Hepburn.
Mr. Gunselman left to cherished his grandchildren Peyton Gamble, Parker Gamble, Charley Gamble, Weston Grubbs, Braxton Grubbs, and Harrison Grubbs.
Pallbearers; Fred "Loco" Zamorano (Interceptors National President), Robert "Hammer" Rodriguez (Harlingen President), Alvaro "Lt" Guerra (Brownsville President), Raul "Hook" Garza (Olmito President), Jason Grubbs (son in Law), and Nate Gamble (son in law).
A visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Military Honors at 6:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
All services conclude the evening of Monday, June 27, 2022.
