He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He diligently worked for over 30 years for the city of Brownsville, TX. he was a loving father & grandfather. He was a born again Christian and dedicated his life to serve Jesus Christ and help people in need.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Susana P. Sanchez, daughter: Otilia S. (Ricardo) Bolivar, son: Jorge (Elvia) Sanchez Jr., grandchildren: Mark Galicia, Christopher Galicia, Corinna Bolivar, Aiden Sanchez and Victoria Sanchez, sisters: Elvira Waggoner, Jane Barnhart and Delia Lee, brothers: Tomas Sanchez and Joe Gutierrez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 2pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista Followed by Cremation.
