Jose Trinidad Limon

Jose was born in Brownsville, TX and spent some time working in Kentucky and Indiana where he met Sharon. They've been together since July of 1978 when they decided to relocate back to Brownsville to start their family. Jose worked at Norton Company for 25 years and Target for 15 years before retiring in 2020. Jose and Sharon have been married for 46 years and share four daughters and six grandchildren.

Jose is survived by his daughters Miranda, Brittany, Sarah Limon, Serina Araujo; brothers Francisco Mata Limon, Juan Mata Limon, Nemecio Limon, Jose Alfredo Limon, Arnulfo Barrera, sisters Maria De La Rosa Knodel and Teresa Barrera Milner; grandchildren Francisco Limon, Aiden, Lilith Munivez, Christopher, Alessy and Maximo Araujo.

Jose was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Mata, father Francisco Limon and brother Adalberto Barrera.

A visitation for Jose Trinidad Limon will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526. A chapel service will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 1:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526.

Serving as pallbearers are Francisco Limon, Aiden Munivez, Fernando Ponce, Floyd Ramirez, Joe Jaramillo, and Rick Infante.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Miranda Limon, Brittany Limon, Serina Araujo and Sarah Limon.
