Juan Barragan will be remembered for his charismatic personality and strong sense of duty. He will be remembered by friends and colleagues he made during his 25 years of military service. May we recognize the sacrifices he made in missions to Europe and the Middle East. His family will remember his love for barbecue, sports, the great outdoors, and being a grandfather. May his soul be received by the Lord, and his body rest in peace.
Juan is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Reina Barragan; his son Juan; his son Eric; his son Alejandro; and his daughter Keanndra.
Juan was preceded in death by his daughter Kiana†; his mother Margarita† and his father Juan†.
A visitation for Juan will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 2:00pm-9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Chapel of Peace Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church, 9178 Tomas Cortez Jr St,, Olmito, Texas 78575. Followed by a burial at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan Barragan, Eric Barragan, Alejandro Barragan, Jordan Barragan, Pablo Barragan and Eduardo Barragan.
