She was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Juanita and her husband Roberto owned and operated J.B. Cantú Gro. in the downtown area which served their neighborhood for many years. Juanita was a busy and hardworking lady. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends especially during the holidays. Juanita had been an assault victim a few years ago and her quality of life had deteriorated ever since but she was never a hateful or bitter person. She always had great faith and thanked the Lord and the Virgen of Guadalupe for her longevity and well being. She was a very strong lady that survived many ordeals in her life.
She loved her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her dogs Coco, Princess and Molly who kissed her hand every time she came back from the hospital.
She will forever be in the hearts of those who knew her. “God Bless You Mom”
