Juanita Zamora

Jane was caring and thoughtful friend and mentor to many. Her kind smile and generous heart always made everyone feel loved and welcomed. She delighted in the company of friends and family. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around.

She worked at R.L. Lackner Jewelers for 42 years. She took pride in her job, and she loved her co-workers, who became close and cherished friends throughout the years.

Jane lived a full and rich life surrounded by many people she cared about.

Jane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jesus Jaime and Rebeca Ortega, and her daughter and son-in-law, Isaura and Julio Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Krisna Gonzalez, Julissa Gonzalez, Jose Ruben Ortega, Jr., Marie, Bonnie and Diana Ortega, Isselle Raguso and her husband, Tj; and her adoring great-grandchildren, Thomas and Katherine Jane Raguso.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Zamora; her son, Jose Ruben Ortega; and her Grandsons, Peter Ortega and Julio Gonzalez II.

Relatives and friends are welcome for viewing and visitation at the Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd., on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
