Judith dedicated much of her life working for BISD nurturing young minds. As a mother, she provided endless love and support to her children, always prioritizing their well-being above all else.
Judith found strength in her Catholic faith and her vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Whether through her work, or simply her day-to-day interactions, she was known for her ability to brighten a room with her smile and her knack for making others feel valued and heard. Her legacy of compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Judith is survived by her children: Anna (Rene), David, Jose, Luis(Mari), and six grandchildren, who will forever cherish the love and lessons she shared. She was preceded in death by her parents: Judith Cardenas Iznaga and Ignacio Olivares; her siblings: Maria Luisa Salazar and Adelaida Zamora; her sons: Marcos G. Araiza and Juan V. Araiza Jr.
A celebration of Judith’s life will be held at Monday, December 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Drive, Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on December 3, 2024, at 10:00am.
Judith will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love, wisdom, and light will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
