Julian Rodriguez was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas and he came to the U.S. in search of the American dream. He worked very hard for many years and ended up becoming a US citizen in December of 2011. He worked at Eagle International, Amfels, the City of Brownsville and B.I.S.D Transportation as a bus driver where he retired in October of 2006. He was a loving dedicated husband who worked very hard to provide for his family. He had a heart of gold and was loved by many people. He loved helping anyone and everyone every chance he could. Those who knew him knew he was a very handy man and always kept himself busy outside. There wasn’t anything that he could not do or fix himself. He always loved a challenge. He was a rock to many people and had a great sense of humor, always ready to crack a joke and make you laugh. He loved life and made the most of every moment he had with his family but most of all he loved God very much and gave his life to the Lord in October of 2006. He attended Casa de Restauración y Paz and was always eager and willing to learn more about God. He led by example and made sure that his family knew that the foundation of his life and marriage was God first. He will be greatly missed but he will always be remembered as a Godly, hardworking, strong, funny, understanding, dedicated and loving Husband, father, grandfather, father in law and friend! Forever in our hearts. We love you, till we meet again.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
