

Lawrence (Larry) Fedrick Hall, 95, passed away Friday September 03, 2021 in Harlingen, Tx. Larry was born in Easton, Pa. May 21, 1926 and moved to Brownsville in the 1950's. He is preceded in death by wife, Mabel I. Hall in 2009; first wife Marjorie Hall Cardy; stepson Bobby D. Penick, step granddaughter Karel Penick Laurence and step grandson Austin Laurence.
Larry is survived by his 2 daughters, Joyce (Wes) Banner, Susan (Ronald) Mcafee; 2 grandchildren, Dawn (Kelly) Trosper and Charles Weeks; stepdaughter Joy Penick (Mike) Waller and numerous great grandchildren.
At age 16 he left home and enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USS Doyle and USS Endicott during World War II. He received numerous medals of honor and was honorably discharged in November 1947.
Larry very much enjoyed many activities with his loving wife like going to Gladys Porter Zoo, camping and fishing at Boca Chica Beach and taking many summer vacations to New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Wyoming and Canada.
We would like to thank Alta Vista Rehabilitation & Healthcare, Greater Valley Hospice and Martha's Care Home for their support and taking such excellent care of Mr. Hall during these last seven months of his life.
There will be a graveside memorial on Saturday September 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd. Brownsville, Tx. 78521.
