I was fortunate to know Lois. A top- notch nurse. Her presence was mesmerizing. Will always remember her.

To the family,

Your mother was a wonderful woman who reached out to many people. She was so helpful to my mother and I am so grateful for her kindness. She now shares eternity with my mom in heaven. Her love and legacy will continue to live through her family and friends. Thank you for sharing you mom with others.

The passing of Lois del Castillo is not only a personal loss for me, but a tremendous loss to Sunshine Haven and to the communities she so selflessly served.  She was an extraordinary mentor and role model for hundreds of those in the nursing and medical profession.  If I had a question, she always directed me to the precise answer.  Her professionalism and integrity was her signature.  The Mosbacker Family sends our love and condolences to Michele and Cooper, Joey, Jeff and Jan, Judy and David and Diana. A woman ahead of her time.  What a vision Sunshine Haven was.  Thank you for creating it.  My brother died there in 2008.  Don't know what my family would have done without the help.  Your time on this earth will never be forgotten.  May the mission of Sunshine Haven live on till the end of time.

Though I am extremely saddened for those of us here missing her, i think this rain may be tears of laughter from heaven! God  bless all of you!  My parents couldn't  have picked better friends,  they were so good to all of us. All my love  and hope for peace for you all, losing both of them so quickly! A GREAT AUNT. Her famous line to how are you doing Aunt Loi, was "not bad for an old lady". Will never forget that.    Always kept in contact with her. She was my other doctor. 
She always was there for our family.
