

Luis was a Veteran of the Armed Forces. He served from 1968 to 1973. He worked for Gloor Company for many years.
He was a loving person to all who knew him. He was very clever, witty and well known for his sense of humor. He was full of life and also a very caring and giving person. He will be greatly missed by all. We would like to thank the staff from Sunshine Haven and Odyssey Healthcare for their support and loving care to our loved one. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Guadalupe & Angelita Garcia and maternal grandparents, Benjamin & Amalia Segura; his brothers, Leo Rodriguez and Frank Rodriguez.
He is survived by his parents, Luis S. & Ester Segura Rodriguez Sr.; brother, David (Laura) Rodriguez; sisters, Irene (Lee) Perez, Araceli (Danny) De Leon and San Juana (Leo +) Rodriguez; children, Andalina (Rafael) Vasquez, Darla M. Rodriguez and Luis Rodriguez III; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on, Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 10am – 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at
Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Cathedral at
1218 E. Jefferson with interment to follow at RoseLawn Memorial Gardens.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 43 under the direction of Commander Raul Leal.
Serving as pallbearers will be Luis Rodriguez III, Danny De Leon, Richard Vasquez, Stephen Vasquez, J.C. Vasquez
and Destin Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Luis Rodriguez Sr., David Rodriguez and Lee Perez Sr.
