Luis Rosenbaum's father migrated from Germany in the early 1900's to Mexico. Luis was born on August 23rd 1938 in Matamoros, Mexico. Son of Isidro Rosenbaum and Margarita Barrera.
He married Eva Garcia and moved to Brownsville, Texas to build a better life. Luis became a naturalized United States Citizen on June 21, 1996. Together Eva and Luis had 7 Children. He is survived by his first wife, Eva Garcia and their children, Sylvia Rosenbaum, Mary Elizardi, Margarita Rosenbaum Cornejo, Luis Rosenbaum Jr., Graciela Rosenbaum, Oscar Rosenbaum, Lydia Rosenbaum+, 18 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
Luis started his entrepreneurial life by paving his own road. Luis started Rosenbaum Trucking Co., a local trucking business. His children have also followed father's entrepreneurial spirit and have built their lives as businessmen and women.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Maria Del Refugio, Irma, Herminia, Baltazar, Elvira, Jaime, Mario, Isidro, Lupita, and Sergio Rosenbaum.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 3pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10am at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista followed by burial at Buena Vista Burial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista.
