Manuela was known for the enduring love for her children and family. She enjoyed caring for her loved ones, cooking, gardening, and giving of herself to those in need. Her favorite activity was attending church every Sunday. Manuela was a noble, strong, and independent woman until her last breath. She invested her livelihood in getting to know our Lord Jesus Christ. Grandma will continue to be loved and forever live in our hearts and memories.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Gloria (Arturo) Maldonado and Manuela Salazar; and her grandson, Rolando Maldonado.
Manuela is survived by her children, Pedro (Susana) Gurrola, Irma (Margarito) Macias, and Maria (Jose Miguel) Maldonado; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 12:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church (2255 Southmost Rd.), followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be Pallbearers will be Jose Miguel Maldonado Jr., David A. Maldonado, Joseph Lopez, Arturo Maldonado Jr., Juan Maldonado, Jorge Maldonado, Elias Mendoza, and Pedro Gurrola.
