“She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She was a very strong willed woman who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. As a young woman, she loved to act and put on a show for her family.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Dorset; parents, Jose Jesus Uribe and Teresa Jimenez-Uribe; son, Cheyenne Dorsett; brothers, Eduvijes and Jesus Uribe; sister, Lucia Uribe.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosalinda Dorsett-Gaytan, Maria Guadalupe Dorsett-Ayala, Pearl Marie Dorsett-Corona, Mary Catherine Dorsett-Martinez, Juanira Dorsett-Hartman; sons, Jesse James Dorsett, James Edward Dorsett III, William Theodore Dorsett, Santos Andres Salgado, and Miguel Angel Uribe; son-grandson, Carlos-Jaiden Lucas Pottinger and 42 grand children.
Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 9pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 and continue from 1 pm to 9 pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista Chapel.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral Church, 1218 East Jefferson Street, Brownsville,Texas.
Committal Service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse James Dorsett, James Edward Dorsett, Miguel Angel Uribe, Telesforo Uribe, Herman Servando Martinez and Joshua Hartman.
