Margarita V. Garcia

A devoted and loving mother, Margarita lived fully and out loud, with an effortless sense of humor and enthusiasm that made every moment brighter. She loved to dance freely and sang without hesitation, believing that joy was meant to be expressed.

She is survived by her children, Sonia Foor and son-in-law Glenn Foor, Araceli Garcia, and Marciano Garcia Jr.; her sisters, Elvia Elizalde and Olga Castillon; her brother, Armando Valdez; and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Margarita will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched. Her loved ones find comfort knowing she has been reunited in heaven with her husband, Marciano Garcia, her daughter, Veronica Garcia, and other beloved family members.

Her love, strength, and whimsy shaped her family in ways that will last forever.

Visitation will take place on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.

The Chapel Service will take place on February 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.

Following, the burial will be held at 11:00 am at Buena Vista Burial Park, located at 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Margarita Garcia falleció el 6 de febrero de 2026, rodeada de amor y de sus hijos, quienes atesorarán para siempre los recuerdos que compartieron con ella.

Madre dedicada y amorosa, Margarita vivió plenamente y sin reservas, con un sentido del humor natural y un entusiasmo que iluminaba cada momento. Le encantaba bailar con libertad y cantar sin dudar, convencida de que la alegría estaba hecha para expresarse.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Sonia Foor y su yerno Glenn Foor, Araceli Garcia y Marciano Garcia Jr.; sus hermanas, Elvia Elizalde y Olga Castillon; su hermano, Armando Valdez; así como muchos sobrinos y sobrinas a quienes amo sumamente.

Margarita será profundamente extrañada por su familia y por todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó. Sus seres queridos encuentran consuelo al saber que se ha reunido en el cielo con su esposo, Marciano Garcia, su hija, Veronica Garcia, y otros familiares queridos.

Su amor, fortaleza y espíritu juguetón formaron a su familia de maneras que perdurarán para siempre.

La Visitación se realizará el 12 de febrero de 2026, de 5:00 pm a 8:00 pm, con un rosario a las 7:00 pm, en Capilla De Paz, en la Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, ubicada en 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.

El Servicio de Capilla tendrá lugar el 13 de febrero de 2026, de 10:00 am a 11:00 am, en Capilla De Paz, en la Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, ubicada en 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
