Margarito is survived by his children: Genoveva Rodriguez (Miguel A. Ramirez) and Cesar Chavez (Stephanie Sanchez); his grandchildren: Jaime Alexis Rodriguez, Jazmin Johanna Rodriguez, Sharleen Ramirez, Izelle Chavez and his great granddaughter: Monseratt Rodriguez.

Margarito was preceded in death by his spouse: Mirtha Chavez Silva †.

A visitation for Margarito will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Chapel of Peace, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
