Maria A. Alaniz, age 73, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Maria was born November 30, 1946 to Maria Garcia (†) and Claudio Campirano (†).

Maria was preceded in death by son Juan Alaniz II (†); father Claudio Campirano (†) and mother Maria Garcia (†).

Maria is survived by daughter Lorena Alaniz; daughter Liliana Barrientes; and daughter Lana Alaniz; beloved grandson Steven Alaniz, grandson Alfonso De La Madrid, grandson Michael De La Madrid, grandmother Abigail De La Madrid, granddaughter Cassandra Gonzalez, grandson Victor Hugo Gonzalez Jr., grandson Abelardo I. Nava, grandson Jared Barrientes, grandson Jesus Perez and grandson Juan Perez.

Also survived by 9 great-granchildren

A visitation for Maria will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
