Maria De Jesus Hernandez

Maria G. Hernandez was a very special person. We will treasure the time we spent together. You will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever. May the memories you left us with, give us the strength to accept that you are no longer with us.

Maria is survived by her daughter Josefina Tanguma; and her son Jaime Hernandez (Laura).

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Enrique Hernandez†; her son Juan Enrique Hernandez†, her son Enrique Hernandez Jr.† and her son Ernesto Hernandez†.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Maria De will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.

Serving as pallbearers are Sandra Tanguma, Susie Cervantes, Jessica Tanguma, Enrique Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez, Armando Tanguma, Elizabeth Hernandez and Diego Hernandez.
