Maria de Jesus Loera, age 73, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

She was a person who loved to write, cooking recipes to later prepare them for her family. She prayed the rosary every day and enjoyed attending catholic services on Sundays.

Maria is survived by her husband, Jorge Antonio Loera Sr., her children Jorge A Loera, Luis Alfonso Loera Mendoza, and Gabriela Grisel Loera Mendoza.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, September 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mc. Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX.
