Maria del Carmen Lyne

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guillermo Rodolfo Lyne Jr.; and her son, Guillermo Rodolfo Lyne III.

Maria is survived by her children, Daniel Lyne, Alberto Lyne, Ricardo Lyne, and Joe Uribe; her grandchildren; her siblings; Paulino Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Alejandrina Martinez, Modesto Martinez, Martin J. Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Victor Martinez, Jauna A. Martinez, Roman Martinez, and Flor del Pilar Martinez; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was passionate about her faith and her gardening. Maria’s gardening always revealed her warm and endearing character, and her memory is a moving testimony to the great friendships based not only on gardening, but a wider passion for life and faith. In this she remained remarkable for sharing her passion with everyone; especially her grandchildren who have taken a keen interest in the same passions.

Maria loved and was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Serving as her pallbearers are Daniel Lyne, Alberto Lyne, Ricardo Lyne, and Joe Uribe.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 1PM in chapel of angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Following the visitation will be an entombment in the mausoleum at 1PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
