Maria de Los Angeles Rodriguez

Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez, 72, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025. Born on November 1, 1952, in San Carlos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Maria was the beloved daughter of Oscar Valdez and Ramona Saucedo.

Maria was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and loyal friend. She is survived by her husband, Jose G. Rodriguez, and her children: Micaela Rodriguez (Ricardo Mireles), Jose V. Rodriguez (Pamela Rodriguez), Ruben A. Rodriguez (Amanda Rodriguez), and Oscar A. Rodriguez (Deanna Rodriguez). Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Dominic A. Rodriguez, Cameron A. Rodriguez, Miranda R. Rodriguez, and Anna Sophia Rodriguez.

She is also survived by her sister, Bertha Valdez; her nephew, Carlos Almanza (Leticia Hernandez); and her niece, Karely Almanza. Maria was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Juan Vega.

Maria’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love were the foundation of her family. She embraced her role as a nurturing mother and grandmother with pride and joy. Known for her spirited personality.

Her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unforgettable laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 78526. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
