Maria Elena Saldivar

She was a long life resident of Brownsville, Texas. She was born on September 21, 1932. Nena was an amazing mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, wedding planning, and many more.

Ms. Saldivar is preceded in death by her parents, Cliserio and Maria Del Refugio Saldivar; her brother, Gilbert Saldivar; and her sister, Angelita Saldivar.

Maria Elena is survived by her loving children, Jorge S. (Gloria) De La Rosa, Maria E. Leveron, and Maricela (Genaro) Benavidez; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 from 12:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
