Maria del Carmen Soria, born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone around her. Known for her hardworking spirit, she balanced roles as a migrant worker and business owner, always pouring love into everything she did, especially her cooking. Maria cherished her children and grandchildren, who loved her deeply in return. She found joy in tending her garden, especially her cherished roses. Her warmth, kindness, and strength will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Maria del Carmen is survived by her children: Veronica Paree (Arnoldo), Javier Vivero Jr (Maribel), Dolores V. Rincones (Leonardo) and Jose Martin Vivero (Aracely); her sisters: Arminda Castillo, Adela Aleman (Arturo), her brother Santiago Soria, her grandchildren: Miranda, Arnoldo Jr, Javier A., Luis N., Katherine, Leonardo III, Fernando, Monzerrat, Janeth, Jose Martin Jr. and Mia, her great grandchild: Mason and Madelyn.
Maria Del Carmen was preceded in death by her parents: Tomas Soria and Carmen Soria, brother Margarito Soria, and her sisters Elva Soria and Enedelia Guzman.
A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1055 Military Road, Brownsville, TX. A burial will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
Serving as pallbearers are: Javier Vivero Jr., Jose Martin Vivero, Leonardo Rincones Jr., Arnoldo Paree, Javier Alejandro Vivero, Leonardo Rincones III, Fernando Rincones.
