Mr. Herrera is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Corina Herrera; brothers, Jose Maria Herrera, Eduardo Herrera, and Juan Herrera.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Herrera; four daughters, Celia Treviño, Yesenia Herrera, Esmeralda Herrera, and Nereida Meza; and six grandchildren.
He was born in Edcouch, Elsa Texas. He worked for the B. I. S. D. Transportation for 22 years. He was a loving husband, and grandfather who will be missed dearly.
Serving as Pallbearers are, Filiberto Treviño, Ramiro Nevarez, Don Wolfe, Jose Luis Meza, and Roberto Herrera.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00 p.m.
Mass will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church at 5409 Austin Road, with Burial to be followed at Buena Vista Burial Park.
