She loved to play loteria and cards with friends and family. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, spending precious time with her kids and grandkids.
Mary Lou is survived by her son Israel Barron (Melissa) and her daughter Veronica Barron-Silva (Robert); her grandchildren Alexander Barron, Jordan Silva, Gavin Silva, Price Barron, Annmarie Barron, Liam Barron, Ethan Barron and Colin Barron.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Roberto Barron Jr.† and her mother Carmen Tapia †.
A visitation for Mary Lou will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A mass will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521. Followed by a burial at 11:00 am at Buena Vista Burial Park , 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
