

Maximina Hinojosa owned and operated, for 35 years, along with her husband and family, Chuy’s Super Restaurant and Chuy’s Super B.B.Q. and Tortillas. Loving mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. Her journey was to serve all, with a giving heart and with eternal strength; a stranger became an instant friend.
Mrs. Hinojosa is preceded in death by her father Reyes Mendez; her loving husband, Jesus Maria Hinojosa; Her sons Jesus Hinojosa and Eduardo Hinojosa.
Maximina Hinojosa is survived by her mother Gregoria Rodriguez- Mendez; her brothers and sisters, Prisco Martinez, Florencia Vitales, Maria Dolores Mendez, Francisco Mendez, Paula Bañuelos, Marcelino Mendez and Alejandro Mendez; her children Mario Alberto Hinojosa, Maricela Hinojosa-Galicia, Mary Rosario Hinojosa-Pancoast, Jose Luis Hinojosa, Juan Antonio Hinojosa, Irma Hinojosa-Aguilera, Laura Hinojosa and Cristina Hinojosa-Bodden; and 13 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mario Alberto Hinojosa, Jose Luis Hinojosa, Johnny A. Hinojosa, Jarrod Travis Pancoast, Manuel Galicia III and Marcelino Mendez.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 10am to 9pm with a Holy rosary at 7pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2pm at Saint Mary, Mother of The Church
1914 Barnard Rd. in Brownsville, Texas with a committal service to follow to Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
