Michael Ramirez

Michael worked as of age 18 on a shrimp boat. He was a captain and loved his job. He enjoyed going out every trip to be out in the ocean. He was a wonderful son, father, uncle and loved all his family. He was there for anyone who needed his help.

Michael is survived by his son Michael Ramirez Jr.; his son Sebastian Ramirez; his son Axel M. Ramirez; and his son Jordan Aguilar; his father Ruperto Ramirez and his mother Graciela Ramirez; his sister Crystal Ramirez; his paternal grandmother Bertha F. Ramirez, his aunt Beatriz R. Rivera, his aunt Flor H. Valencia, his aunt Manuela Olmedo, his aunt Marisol Garcia, his aunt Bertha Ramirez, his aunt Maribel Cortes, his uncle Miguel A. Ramirez, his uncle Reynaldo Ramirez, his aunt Charlotte Jaramillo, his aunt Norma Alfaro, his aunt Hazel Vasquez, his aunt Esther Navarro, his uncle Joe W. Garcia, his uncle Johnny Garcia, his uncle Gilbert Garcia, his uncle Ernest R. Garcia, his nephew Jesus M. Cardenas and his nephew Adrian A. Prieto.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother Ruperto Ramirez Jr. †; his paternal grandfather Miguel M. Ramirez †, his maternal grandfather Jose M. Garcia †, his maternal grandmother Esther R. Garcia †, and his uncle Hector E. Garcia †.

A visitation for Michael will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church, 2215 Rancho Viejo Ave, Brownsville, TX 78526. Followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are Reynaldo Ramirez, Rodolfo Navarro, Ernest R. Garcia, Ruperto Ramirez Jr., Carlos Uriel Olmedo, Michael Ramirez Jr., Eulalio Cortes Jr. and Miguel A. Ramirez.
